On the verge of buying a new Imac, but...

I have too many games/programs that I like in Windows. I see that there is a program called 'Parallels' that might help, but that it doesn't currently have 3d gaming support.
So, I guess my question is, can I get an Imac and use a bootcamp/parallels type program to game in XP? Specifically, games like D&D Online, the upcoming Age of Conan, etc. Not a big FPS fan, so bleeding edge not necessary.
Thanks for any input.

Yes. Boot camp basically does nothing else but enable you to install XP on a regular mac. It basically lets XP treat your mac as a regular PC.

And with that in mind, a well-optioned 24" Imac should be able to play most PC games in bootcamp mode, right?

Yes, definitely.

The only macs that are not that great for gaming are the macbook (non pro), mac mini's and the base iMac. They all use intel integrated graphics, so most older games will run fairly well, newer ones will be choppy.
