Three times now, I've been taking my walk, listening to my iPhone using my AirPods, when the sound stopped. Each time, I've looked at my charges with the app on my phone, and either saw an Airpod with 1% or didn't see anything at all. The music app won't let me connect.
And each time, when I got back in my apartment, when I looked at the charges, I found my AirPods and case virtually fully charged. Everything worked well then.
Any idea what is happening? Is there a reset I can do while still on my walk?
