I was wondering if this card would give me more processing power as well as GUI. As I understand it this card is like a super computer so wouldnt it give me more processing power when using things like After effects, premier... photoshop and so forth?

I may be wrong but I believe that Photoshop, After Effects and the like tend to be more CPU, rather than GPU, intensive. Any gains from a going with a workstation card would be negligible. Certainly not enough to justify the price premium over a GTX 680 for instance. If you are looking for a GPU with more compute power I would recommend something along the lines of the AMD 7950 Mac Edition.

Top of the market card that and would work wonderfully well in a 2.66GHz/2.93GHz 8 core. Won't increase CPU output however. And boy are they dear coming in at over $1,000.00.
