Nordic keyboard

I found a Macbook Air looks good but it has a nordic keyboard ...
Does not seem much different apart from a couple of unusual characters where the brackets usually are..

Would this be useable for a student that trying to use as normal english..

Yes, it should be useable provided you make allowances for the difference in the keyboard. Just make sure that the language of the MacBook Air is set to English.

Yes. Since English doesn't use many diacriticals, a Nordic keyboard would work quite as well as any other. The physical keyboard will make no difference to the function of the Mac. Spellchecking etc can still be done in English.

I don't know whether the Nordic k/b has letters in alternative places, like the French AZERTY and the German QWERTZ. Such differences might be a problem for a touch typist, but most 2 finger typists wouldn't have a problem.
