I am so Heated up rite now its just not funny :Shouting: :Shouting: :Shouting: :Shouting:

I was finally getting a hang on those darn tests for my Work Training. I was accessing them through Windows through Paralles on my MacBook, and darn it I was doing good on that freaking test, and out of no where, Its just disappeares, Parallels decided to CRASH out of the blue and I lost every thing

:Shouting: :Shouting: :Shouting: :Shouting:

While I recognize its probably not a Windows problem, but I really didn't expect for Parallels to crash on me :Grimmace:

Sorry to bother u, but I just needed to vent :[

Wish me luck so I can back on track

Cheers

So it was for sure Parallels that crashed and not XP itself? I have never used Parallels so do not know much about it.

I can feel your pain though. Sorry to hear that happened to you.

Wow, that's odd. I have never had Parallels crash on me.

What build are you running?

Build 3186 (March 2, 2007)

And during the install a couple of weeks ago, I did download all the updated, so it should be up to snuff.

I gotta be honest tho, I always used it and had no problems, so I can forgive the first hic-up.... :D :p

I just was infuriated because I was working on those GOD Forsaken tests... But other than than I still love Parallels and I'd swear by it anytime.

Cheers, and thanks for u guys for keeping my moral up and running Hats off to u.

I've had it crash on me before, but only when I was doing something slightly unusual (i.e. not just using Windows apps). Some of these beta builds are less reliable than others. I ran 3186 for months however without any troubles but recently installed 3188 and have been running that for several weeks without any crashes.

Same here. I've managed to get Vista to bluescreen inadvertantly on Parallels, but never had Parallels crash, even under heavy usage. Do you have Parallels Tools installed?

Question - are you using a Bootcamp partition as your Windows hard drive in Parallels? I only ask because I noticed some flakey behavior when I did so.

Count me in too, Parallels has never once crashed on me. Real sorry to hear that! The latest build is 3188 from March 7, give that a shot!
