noisy mouse

this has probably been covered but i couldn't find it. on my ibook the mouse is very noisy when i click anything. when i use the same computer at school it is very quiet. any comments on this?

You could always use 'tap to click' instead.

Go to system prefs and change the trackpad settings so that you can tap the trackpad area to perform a left click instead of having to use the actual button.

the tap method would be good but im just wondering why is there such a big difference. if i could show you both it would be alot easier to explain. its not hold the mouse but the keyboard to. was there two versions out?
