Hi - this is probably a ridiculously easy question, but yesterday my friend and i were able to share my dial-up internet connection initially using an ethernet cable and then wirelessly using airport.
however today when we tried to repeat the process, when can't get it to work for some reason.
i think we have done everything exactly the same.
first got an internet connection. then made apple talk active over ethernet and then enabled internet sharing (and personal file sharing)...we have tried other combinations (like using apple talk over airport instead of ethernet)
but it didn't work.
My network address comes up on my friend's computer (in sharing) and we seem to be connected via Rendezvous, but alas the internet is not sharing either over the ethernet cable or over airport.
help!! does anyone have any suggestions???
