Newbie needs a hand!

Hi..

I've just bought a 14.1" iBook-im a Graphics student, so i don't really get into the tech. side of things, i just use graphics programs. Im having trouble with retreiving an internet account. It's with Freeserve, and im told this isn't compatible with the latest OSX-so ichecked the Help section on the Freeserve website, and all the Mac based help options they gave are useless! There are two solutions on there, and none of them even relate to my operating system! Anybody got any ideas?

Not sure what you are asking by retreiving the account, and I've never heard of Freeserve, but maybe if you can post a little more information someone else can help you? Good luck.

to be honest mate, it shouldnt matter, the actual freeserve software may be incompatible but you should still be able to create the connection manually through 'networks' in the system preferences. as long as you have your details and the phone number your mac needs to dial
