Hello, i recently got a new macbook and am having problems with it connecting to the internet like many of you have reported. I have heard from reading these forums that it's most likely because of the way leopard "talks" to the router. I am needing a new router anyways so which one do you recommend that works with the new macbooks? I have looked at the D Link Xtreme N Gigabit router but am not sure. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Before you invest in a new router you should check with your ISP to find out which make\models are compatible with their system. (Most probably are.)

That said, what kind of problems are you now having? Leopard does not use a different type of method of talking to the router than say, Windows does.

Solve your current difficulties of getting on the internet before investing in new hardware which may turn out to be a waste of money if you have the same problem.

Regards.
