New sorting features in iTunes

Can someone please explain to me the new sorting features in iTunes? Album artist? Sort name? Sort Album? What do these do? (sorry if this has already been covered)

i dont quite know what you mean - do you mean a feature when you click on the artist or album (at the top) it orders them or something else ?
