New Mac, Old Printer

Hey there,

Just got a new PowerBook G4 1.25MHz, and it's a great machine. But I have this old LaserJet 6L printer which is made for windows machines, so no USB connection and no mac drivers. Is there a way to make it work with the PowerBook?
I was searching the web and a program called Ghostscript kept coming up, but after going to their website, I couldn't figure out if the program was right for me or not.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
DharmaBum

The printer itself is not networkable. I also have the 6L (great little printer btw!!) but I have a Dell it's hooked to and I print from my iBook via the Airport Network using the GIMP/Ghostscript printer drivers.

There are a few solutions. One would be to get a USB to Parallel adaptor instead of a normal Parallel cable for your printer. Another would be to get a router that allows printer sharing with a built in parallel port and do it that way.
