On 10.13.3 and I can't figure out the new calculator. Help.

I type 2+2 and hit enter and this is what I get???

Hit CMD+1 to go back to regular mode and out of RPN mode.

Another way to get out of RPN is to click on the top bar, View and uncheck the RPN option. It shows a key combo of CMD-R to toggle as well.

Hey Ashwin... My HP RPN got me thru all my electronic courses and helped me pass my FCC exams. LOL. But I agree, it is a rather backward way of doing math. :)

I also have a Dual Line display HP with RPN. It threw me for a loop at first but once I got used to it I loved it. My friend Matt gave it to me and it got him through all his engineering courses in Graduate school! I still have it and it still works great. It's an HP 42S RPN.

No, not at all. It's sooo logical. Loved it on my HP-41c calculator. I once found a program for the quadratic equation written in 15 or 16 steps. Without RPN, it could not have been done so efficiently.
