networking mac and pc

I'm sharing a broadband connection through a router. I also want to use it to set up anetwork between the two computers. Has anyone got any idea how I do this? The mac is running OS 10.3.2 and the PC windows 2000

If the router has more than one ethernet output, just plug the two computers in.
