Network Auto-Log On

I have two computers in our art dept, both running 10.3.8. One has an external 80 GB drive that we share accross our network for backing up our files. If I remember correctly, OS9 and earlier had a feature in the Chooser where you could have your computer log on to the network automatically at start-up. Can you still do that in 10.3.8? I've been searching the help files, but perhaps I'm not "asking the right questions" in my search.

Mount the drive on the computer and when it asks for log on information store that information in keychain. Go to System Preferences -> Accounts and click Startup Items. Click the + button and select the drive
