I have 4 drives in my 2010 Mac Pro. Recently, I have to enter my password to move an item to trash from just 1 (non boot) drive. I have sharing set. Admin, myself, system, wheel (?), and everyone are set to rerd/write. I fixed permissions.

Any advise on how to proceed?

G'day and welcome to the forums.

What is on this drive Allan as it is not the system drive and non-bootable? Anything that requires the password for say security reasons? And I don't follow 'wheel'.

You can find more info on wheel here. Suffice it to say, you probably don't have to concern yourself with it.

When you say you have sharing set, do you have proper privileges?
