I have a 1.3ghz 12" Powerbook which I purchased off of ebay a couple of months ago. After fighting with the AC adapter many times, the prongs inside the DC Input board broke... I purchased another DC Input board and replaced it and after some research found out that the guy who sold me the powerbook sent an AC adapter for a G3 Ibook (35W). After getting a new (and correct) AC adapter, it is now charging the battery and I don't have to fight with it anymore to charge. Now I have two new problems after taking it apart. My wireless signal has gone to almost nothing now. I did a PMU reset and have checked the pigtail on the Airport card many times and it is not my wireless setup because my windows laptop connects just fine and has a great connnection. Second problem, my fan is running at full speed all the time. Right when you power on the laptop it kicks in. Just wondering if you guys have any suggestions before I take the laptop apart again... Thanks!
