I have an old Macbook which I gave grand quite a while back. She has lost the charger, and I would like to find one so I might be able to get this one running again. Anyone of y'all able to identify from these photos?? Suggestions on where I might find another charger??
Front, open view
Left Side view where charger plug is; small
Bottom view; pretty worn off.
Right Side has cd slot.

Many thanks in advance.
Ruth

We need to identify the year and model first before we can suggest where to buy a new MagSafe Charger. Give us the serial number of the machine and we will look it up for you if you don't know the year and model.

Do you have an Apple store or Best Buy close? You could take the Mac in and see if they have a charger with the plug that fits the MagSafe slot. Even if the charger is more powerful than you need, it should work to charge and run the Mac just fine as the Mac will only draw what it needs. And if they don't have one that fits, there is an adapter that Apple used to sell to fit the new supplies into the older ports.

Use a small coin to eject the battery. You will then see a grey label on the underside of the top case showing the basic spec and the serial number. You'll need a 60W MagSafe power adapter, or an 85W is also compatible. Not a MagSafe 2 or USB C type

That looks like an a1181 MacBook. That uses the MagSafe 1 charger 60 or 85 watt ones will work. Not sure if Apple still has them but can be found on amazon cheap.

Apple should have the 60W MagSafe, as they are used with the MBP 13" Mid 2012, and that is still supported by Apple.

Those are no longer supported here in the US.
