I'm on a mid-2009 Macbook Pro Unibody. I've been having some spotty performance from the Mac's battery, so I got some info on the battery through Utilities/SysInfo/Hardware/Power. Only problem is, I have no idea how to decipher the info, the cycles and the jigawatts and etc.

If anyone with some 'know' can help me figure out what kinda shape my battery is in, I'd really appreciate it!

The only part you need to worry about is "Condition: Normal". If it says anything other than normal, start looking into a new battery. The numbers you see there are just values and some charge capacity is expected to disappear as time goes on. Your battery is fine.

I'm more curious about what you mean by "spotty performance" and how you think it's your battery. Should let us have that story. TTYL
