First of all let me start by saying i know this might be a common thing that i should search for but its really important and i havent been able to figure out a solution.

Last night i ran Firevault on my mac and when it finished it restarted the computer. When it restarted a blue screen came up but there was no place for me to sign in. It seems like the screen is processing something but keeps going back to the blue screen.

I am running 10.5(i think)

Please help!!!!

From what I have heard, Firevault ends up doing more damage then good. Not being able to log in seems to be a common side effect when Firevault goes wrong. The best bet is to try and get to your data and back it up/retrieve it. Do this by making a guest account or accessing your computer through a firewire connection to another mac. Then just re-install the OS.

If you don't absolutely need Firevault, it is highly recommended that you do not use it in the future.
