Hi there, I have a MAC Pro, I have just upgraded my processor from a 3,5Ghz 6 core to a 3Ghz 10 core, I have 64GB ram (I intend to max this out shortly), 1TB ssd drive, I use two external 4 TB drives for my work. I can bearly use indesign right now its so slow, I have to work with an old version of illustrator. The indesign problem seemed to start when I installed Catalina but this might be coincidence.

Any help would or advise would be appreciated.

Thanks
Deano

Rather than reinvent the wheel here is a link to an excellent article by one of our members which pretty much covers all the possibilities;
