I just want a definitive answer on this. I know ipod shuffle doesnt come out til the 22nd, but if I order mine today, does that mean Ill get it on the 22nd, or itll ship on the 22nd?

on the uk site im sure that it says you will get it on the 22nd so i presume that its the same for US?

i wouldnt rely on any guarantee. apple is known to be slick on how they word delivery dates

i dont have no mac's
i'd call them up and ask (give yourself a bit of time to do this though)....maybe you can have it on the 22 or 23 if you go to an apple store and pre-order one there

I would say no.. I can't say that I have ever got mine when the original date said, due to overwhelming demand on their part.
