I'm thinking of getting a cheap chinese adaptor and soldering the lead on. Is it 24v? How many amps?ps: Those ibook adaptors were crap......shorting of the low voltage lead was not uncommon. I was determined to fix mone first go as a new one is $100 here in Thailand. Had to even prise open the white case to hook up, but got it going and it would be fine today given careful handling.pps: I thought you couldn't check with a multimeter as it would only work under load??John</blockquote>
