I have a lot of e-mail within my Mail program and to shorten my keyboard time right now I'd like to move them from my MacBook Air to an external drive. I've searched Google/Bing for ways to do this but nothing pops up after the year 2012 or so.
Once they are moved to an external drive, can you access them/read them in any way or do you need to move the file back to your hard drive in order to re-access them?
I am currently running 10.9.5 Mav on a nearly 3 year old MBA.
