Mouse pointer always appears in the upper left corner

My imac has two users and when I Turn on the mac, the mouse pointer always appears in the upper left corner. It's annoying. Is there a way to make it appear in the middle of the screen?

Hi Owen,

I don't know any way of changing this. On all my Macs, the pointer has always appeared in the top left hand corner.

BTW how often are you booting up the Mac? Most of us, keep the Mac on all the time with a reboot every 2 to 3 weeks or so.

Usually I booted every day or two days. I will do as you do, I will boot once a week. Thanks.
