Moding a MacBook?

I have seen where people have taken there PowerBook and moded the Apple on the LCD to turn it a different color. Is it possible to do this also to a MacBook? Or will it void the apple care?

Yes it will...
I haven't seen it done on the new models yet, but I'm sure it's just a matter of time.
