[QUOTE="bobtomay, post: 1265856, member: 24160"] I haven't played with it much yet. When the guy brought it out, he didn't even know the password to get into the modem's menu or how to use google to go find it... I had to take over the keyboard to get it set up and working while he was here. He says "you know more about this than I do". :Smirk: He said I was only the 2nd person he'd run into in almost 2 years he'd been doing this that even knew the IP for the router. What's that tell ya about the average joe out there. Once I found out he wasn't going to be any help, I just disconnected the 655 and went straight to the modem to get it set up and make sure it was working before he left. Haven't had time to hook the 655 back up and tinker yet, but found several threads about bridged mode on the D-link site and had a bunch of unhappy end users about it. Did find a couple of work arounds. But, as well as the modem seems to be working so far, I may not need the 655 with it. The wifi distance seems to be just as strong, if not possibly a little better.
