Model a1466 screen backlight not working

My computer got spilled water on. I opened it up, made the sound/speaker work - but the screen was almost entirely black and still is.
Somehow i saw the Apple shining through the computer, and realized that area of the screen was working just fine. The backlight! is the problem.
The reason i have hope is because SUDDENLY the screen will work. Rarely, but suddenly.
I have found the back light -thing, but is there aything i can check for?

Can i buy a new one? I can only get one of the screws up, annoying, but I can see a little.
