Missing - Pluse-8 Where are you?

We seem to have lost one of our regular and trusted contributors - Pulse-8. Either he is taking a little nap or using the cloak of invisibleness, but Martin seems to be conspicuous by his abscence.
Now he lives in Tasmania so it may just be that his messages are taking longer than normal to arrive on the forum, or he is taking all of his time to make another fabulous member photo montage, but he is not here. I got here early this morning unlocked and turned on the lights, and no Martin. Marty where are you.......
Has anyone else noticed?

Pulse/Marty hasn't posted since March 26th. He hasn't mentioned to me that he was going anywhere.

Every forum wins by having decent people like Marty as a member, every forum loses by seeing them leave. Marty is one of the, if not THE kindest soul in Mac-Forums and he represents the forum in the best way possible: always welcoming new members whenever he can, infinitely patient and empathic, because, as he puts it, he remembers when he was utterly frustrated by the lack of knowledge and ease when he was sitting in front of a computer and trying to use it.

I would hate to see him leave because people like him, Eric, KoDor, mac57, cwa, DB, ambi, carol, netty and a few others* make me stay here. A forum becomes stale to me when aggravation, open aggression or meanness, pettiness, disproportionate egos and ultra abrasive behaviour (from certain members, just to look cool and pass for rebels) outweighs the good.

I hope he hasn't gone too far, this forum needs him. A lot. And so do I.

Marty, if you're out there, you are in my thoughts. Peace, man.

I too miss Pulse-8 and had noticed he is not around. I was just thinking about him last week and thought I'd missed the post about some awesome vacation or something.

I'd like to say I was away on a fantastic holiday but the truth is that I've had a build up of frustrations that I needed to deal with and have dealt with them - and reading this thread has been the closure.

The truth is, I missed this place so much, and it's you guys I'm talking about .... that while I wasn't posting, I was still coming here and just sat for a while each day just watching the place tic over.

SO ... be prepared cos I'm back with a vengeance and I can't believe how many new members have appeared since I was last here!

And RIDE is gonna take the company car keys and Cupertino Penthouse keys from me .... oh ... what's that, Schweb? I'm not meant to let that little secret out .... my bad! Mods ... please delete the previous mention of the perks of being MotM!
