Mini 2018

Currently have a mini 2014 running Sierra 10.12.6. Reason being is due to my ancient After Effects CS4. I use it for family photos and videos. Up until recently I even had Photoshop CS3 but it won't work anymore. Not even on my mac pro 2006 running 10.6.8. Refuse to go on Adobe's monthly payment plan.

Would like to know if the 2018 mini will run Sierra and CS4. My 2014 is starting to act buggy; beach balls with Safari, Mail & CS4 (so far).

No, a 2018 mini requires macOS 10.14 or later.

Many former Adobe users feel the same way as you do, so they have switched to Affinity's similar and excellent programs. Affinity's programs are only $55 each, flat fee (no subscriptions). There are free trial versions that you can check out first. Affinity's programs can work with all of your existing Adobe format files.

Adobe After Effects is a different animal than Affinity offers.

Thanks for your reply.
After reviewing the Affinity site I did not see where it would make videos and animations. Are they able to do that?
