Migration G4 PowerBook to New MacBookPro

I saw some threads on this but didn't see a clear answer. I used the Migration software to transfer my files. But althought I had everything checked there is nothing in iphoto or itunes. Is there a step I could be missing? ARGH this whole migration thing was supposed to be sooooooo easy.
