[QUOTE="hokenoah, post: 1803054, member: 400816"] Hi, I have a mid-2010 Mac Pro 8-core that I got from a friend today. I picked it up at 3:00PM-ish, powered it on at 3:30-4PM, and then turned it off and went to work for 5:30PM. I just got home about two hours ago and went to go turn it on. The power button does nothing; no lights, no sounds, nothing. When I press the DIAG button, the yellow/amber LED comes on and shows the PSU trickle power is fine (5V STBY). My Mac Pro doesn't have an SMC_RST button near the DIAG LED button like some manuals say... is this normal? I've tried every possible trick/advice I could find online that didn't require me to press key combinations at startup (because it won't turn on). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
