Lately, when I scroll in Microsoft Word on my MBP, the spinning color wheel will come up with a lag in the scrolling. Also when typing the color wheel with show up with a lag. Its getting more and more frequent. Do I need to reinstall MS Office? How would I go about doing that exactly? I was working in a document with a small picture in it, but should that really make a difference? Everytime the color wheel comes up it scares me becaue I JUST had my internal HDD replaced under warranty because of the "spinning wheel of death" and of course the HDD clicking sound. So really, I just installed MS Office 2004 on this new HDD about 3 weeks ago, so its a fairly new install. I have been having some strange scratch noises coming from the base of the MBP, so Im all confused as to what to do. I still have 3 months of factory warranty left. So....anybody know why this could be happening or some things I should be checking? Thanks!!!

Your Mac's Specs
Black MacBook. Once you go black, you never go back. 2.0 Ghz Intel Core Duo; 2 GB RAM; 80 GB HDD
I'm kind of having the same problem as you using MS WORD. When I use two finger scrolling on the trackpad, the document doesn't show any movement. However, when I click anywhere on the screen, the program will then start scrolling down the page. It's eating up all my CPU usage. Making my fans turn on all the time. It's weird b/c it just started today. Never had a problem before.

HELP!!!!!!! SUGGESTIONS!!!!!!!!

Microsoft Office for Mac is not a Universal app. It will have some lag from time to time on an Intel machine.
