Hey Dennis...yes you are a brave soul!;)

Please let us know if you see any features that stand out vs. other browsers (pros & cons). I would think there better be something "amazing" about it to get users to switch/use!:)

Wow!!! It doesn't seem that many years ago that folks on any sort of Mac discussion list or forum were all gung-ho to remove anything related with Microsoft from their machines. How times and things and attitude change.

I wonder what it's main claim for advantages are or over all the other browsers out there these days.

Now, maybe I should wonder where my old copy of MS Explorer is??? And do you think the MS Edge browser will work and integrate with my Office 2011???

PS EDIT: Just joking ... :Smirk:

LOL, it seems lots of folks don't trust anything by Google. The problem nowadays, is we're being spied on in so many different ways. Just read the disclaimer and privacy notice from your credit card holder. Chrome is the least of your worries. :goofy

OK, but I am a bit curious to know why.

Chromium is an entirely free and open-source software project. As such, at least as I understand it, Free and open-source software (FOSS) is software that can be classified as both free software and open-source software and is used directly and/or indirectly with various software applications as I understand the way it works.

Isn't the Chromium project just like an engine in a car that can be modified by any sort of hot rodder or software customizer, aka: hacker if you like???

PS: EDIT: Just to add I tend to agree with Charlie's comments above.

I also agree with Charley above.

Also remember Opera which many people love? It's also now using a Chrome engine.

I've been using it, a bit... One plus: You can use chrome extensions for your email, instead of needing to use a *mumble grumble* separate application, unlike some browsers *cough* safari *cough* ;)

When my kids installed it on their winOS PC’s, the only way I could get rid of any Chromium (not Chrome) products was to wipe the drive.
