It's just not a good idea to trust Google or Microsoft if you have other equivalent options. Neither company is into privacy...quite the contrary.</p><p></p><p>If you want to use a browser based on Chromium (as is Microsoft Edge), there are a number of really nice ones from companies that are more worthy of being trusted. E.g.:</p><p></p><p>Brave (my favorite currently)</p><p>Slimjet</p><p>Vivaldi</p><p>UR</p></blockquote><p></p>
