Message App not working on Mac

My message app stopped working a few weeks ago. This is on my Mac, not iphone. When I launch it, nothing happens. When I go to the menu, everything is shaded in grey, so I can't access anything.

Thoughts? And even better: help?

2020 27" i9 5K nano iMac, 1TB(partitioned) SSD, GB, macOS 15.3.1 Sequoia
We don't know what OS X version you're using or many other details, so maybe try some thread and check it out like:

You can click to skip to the end and its a long one… Some have never been able to get their Mac Messages working, so good luck. :( ;)
