ME280ZP - iPad mini 2nd Gen and MD532ZP trade in for new ipad 10.2?

am l correct that ME280ZP/A - iPad mini 2nd Gen is newer version and worth more than MD532ZP/A? screen display is clearer. both have 32GB.
well l will be buying a new ipad 10.2 soon, probably from an apple store or the local electronic stores, eg Fortress and Broadway. Fortress said that they accept trade in of old ipad and maximum they will give is 500 HKD max. am l better off selling 2nd hand. comments and suggestions, thanks
