Sorry to bother you friendly people with my annoying questions but, should I get a 1.8 GHZ G5 this Winter? Or wait for the 2.0 GHZ G5 in the Summer? Will the 2.0 GHZ be that much faster?

im not sure you will see an enormous speed increase but if you have the patience to wait it might be smart to do so to let apple fix the minor bugs they are having.

Yes, I tell all of my friends and anyone who can wait, to wait until the next release of the mac you want to buy. That way you get the newest and the cheapest.

Ok this doesn't help! By the time I wait till Summer for the new release of G5's it will be about a year till Macs get Intel Pentium chips.. I dont wanna spend $4000 just to be outdated in a year or so..

Apple will not use the Intel Pentium chip. Not while they are using IBm and Moto chips. It would not buy Apple anything to use Intel.
