I've checked around the forums and I've found people with similar problems but nothing exactly like what I'm experiencing. If anybody has any ideas, I'd appreciate your help. Thanks in advance.
I have a 17" MacBookPro, about 6 months old, with the following specs:
2.2 GHz Intel Core i7
4GB 1333 MHz DDR3
and I'm running 10.6.8
Three times in the last few days the screen has suddenly turned blue, I can't see the mouse cursor, and I've had to force a shut down with the power key.
Twice it happened when I was closing Firefox 4.0.1 but the last time I had Firefox open and Safari open but I didn't close anything.
It seems to have started since I installed the latest updates - one was for Thunderbolt and the other I can't recall.
I went into Console to see what happened before the crash and this is what it says.
