Message: <blockquote data-quote="cl3m0ns" data-source="post: 598706" data-attributes="member: 48988"><p>The issue you will face with putting maya on OSX or OSX leapord is that not all of the components of Maya work properly on the mac.  Autodesks website even has a list of things that the mac version of maya has trouble doing.  And I know from personal experience that the mac version has trouble with textures.  I love macs as much as the next guy but for running Maya windows is the way to go whether that be buying a mac and running parrallels or just buying a pc laptop because if you buy mac for maya you will run into a lot of problems.  If you don't believe me do some research on forums.</p></blockquote><p></p>
