I have an MPB (14.6.1) purchased in UK but currently in use in France.
At the side there is a ANKER connector that plugs into the two sockets on the left.
The charger plug is permanently connected ; also a printer and an Ethernet connection.
At first there is no significant ripple but after some time, it gets really uncomfortable ... almost a mini electric shock from the case of the MPB.
At the moment, all I have plugged in are (1) ethernet and (2) the charger.
The ripple is significant and painful.
It it also present when the charger plug is connected direct and not via the ANKER.
Comments greatly appreciated.

Obviously a short circuit to the case, so STOP USING IT, get it to a professional for assessment. Though unlikely with the various safety devices fitted etc, but considering the current (intentional pun) issue you could kill yourself, mains power is deadly.

I have experienced this in Indonesia myself with a previous model MBP. Not to the degree you describe though. I would seek some professional help but my guess is that your power supply is not earthed and quite possibly the polarity is reversed too. There may be a portable solution for this such as a UPS but either way it's wrong and I'd get it checked out.

Thanks to both for the replies.
Funny thing is that it's variable ... sometimes it will sit there for days without any ripple.
I do think it may be a case of reverse polarity and will investigate.
Although the French plug has an earth terminal, I'm not sure whether it is actually connected!
What I do is unplug the mains from the Mac when I'm not using it.
