Mail trouble

I have signed up for mail through my Macbook however when trying to access my mail it asks for password. When I type my password it says "The .Mac server mail.mac.com rejected the password for user "digitalfish". I am sure I have the right password. Any reason why this is happening?

This might seem like a silly question, but you do have a .mac email address, right?
Double check your server settings to ensure they are correct.

I signed up for a .mac email account so I do have one. My incoming mail server is mail.mac.com & my outgoing mail server is smtp.mac.com:digitalfish

Do I need to do something to sync up with my ISP (comcast)?

I am a little lost with this.
