Hello,
I have a imac and I Yesterday I tried to install it using boot camp windows
Installation was not successful, then a strange thing happened, I can not find the hdd, and the computer is not increased.
I was sure that the problem is due to the HDD but because of the coincidence I'm not sure that's the problem.
I would be happy if you help me!
Thank you.

You're not going to get much help without providing us with additional information.

We're assuming you were trying to install Windows on your 21.5" 2011 iMac. Tell us how you were installing Windows? Did you use a Windows DVD? What version of Windows were you trying to install? And what version of OS X are you running on your iMac?

Looks like the OP was trying to run an install from an external drive or thumb drive. If so you must use your iMac's optical drive.

This may work after you get OS X up and running. Boot into Recovery mode to find/repair OS X. Remember Microsoft will try and prevent any installation on an external drive to combat piracy.
