MacBook won't boot help strange one

Strange one. I shut the lid while shutting down now MacBook won't boot..... No fan start no screen start. Strange thing is battery indicator works and power cord green light works. Anybody had this issue. Or can suggest a fix. Have tried a reset battery remove extra. Im out of warranty so before I book be good to get some ideas of the problem

Try holding down the control + command + Power .

Tried that no joy. Trying to find if this is a logic board problem before I look to replace it.
