MacBook white (The folder on startup) System didn't startup

Hi guys,

Today i tryed to start my mac and i had a whitescreen and a folder with (?) in the middle. I have tryed a couple time to restart it and still no change. I have tryed to command (Command + r) for recovery but nothing...

Last night i had no probleme with my mac and today. I don't know how and why my mac don't want to start anymore.

Can anyone help me please ?

Could you give us a little more detail on what model of Mac it is, what system you are running, do you have backups, and so forth?

Model: Macbook White (old)

System : Leopard or snow leopard

And i didn't made a backup before.
