DOES ANYONE KNOW WHEN I SHOULD GET MY MACBOOK?

I want the LED UPDATE AND STUFF FOR BETTER BATTERY LIFE, BUT WOULD PREFER TO GET MY MACBOOK WITH MY FREE IPOD NANO, WHICH HAS TO BE DONE BY MID-SEPTEMBER. IS APPLE LIKELY TO UPDATE BLACK AND WHITE MACBOOKS BY THEN, OR SHOULD I SCREW IT AND BUY NOW? ¡HELP!

Yeah, it does crap like that randomly... See why I need a new computer? I think the key just sticks underneath for some reason. I'm considering saving up a bunch more and getting the 15" Macbook Pro 2.2 GHz. What do you think?

MBP is the way to go, you won't regret it.

yah im plannin on gettin in on the student discount + ipod nano + free printer deal for a MB. But is it gonna cost a lot to upgrade in Leopard when it comes out a month later?

When you purchase any new Mac as a student you can get a 4 GB nano for free after rebate. You can also get the 8 GB or 30 GB for $50 after rebate or the 80 GB for $150 after rebate. I'm springing for the 30 GB when I purchase my MBP.

MBP's are really nice, I just think they're bigger than I want to haul around as a consultant. If you don't have to take them everywhere with you, the MBP is phenomenal for the screen and better video card.
