Hi Guys and Girls,

I have had my beautiful black MacBook for two months with no problem. I'm completely converted, and everytime I have to use Windows I literally cringe...

...you mean I can't scroll using two fingers???

BUT...

Tonight my MacBook has decided not to work without the power cord plugged in. I've downloaded a battery software update to no avail. Is my battery Kaput? Has anyone had the same problem?

Thanks in advance for your wise words,
Dolf.

What happens when you push the button on the battery itself? Do the LEDs light up to indicate that it has a good charge?

The lights show full charge. This morning it mysterously started working again, I noticed the charger's light was green and when I unplugged it the MacBook happily continued working without the cord...

By the way thanks once again for that invite, much appreciated!

It's strange because it's working perfectly well now... Even when it wasn't working the laptop was still able to "read" the battery level, just refused to use it.
