how are the speakers on the Macbook compared with the iBook, this is possibly the only dislike i had for my iBook, is it going to be my only dislike on my Macbook too?

Aside from being moved to the back, it sounds just as good/bad as the ibook IMO.

My MacBook is the first Mac i've ever bought, so I can't compare to other Apple laptops. But compared to the PC world, the speakers on the MacBook are complete garbage. Quiet, distorted, horrible frequency response. I mean ****, my $600 eMachines laptop had speakers that were much more clear and twice as loud. If you intend to be listening to lots of music on the go, get headphones.
