I have a 3 year old MacBook Pro 120 Gig HD that is running out of memory. I can see from viewing "all documents" in finder that not only is my machine saving every email attachment I receive, but sometimes 2 or 3 of the same. Same goes for Windows docx. Doesn't seem to happen with media files of any kind. Can anyone suggest where I might look to find the culprit? Simply deleting all the dupes is time consuming and futile! I don't even have enough memory to download Drive Genius as suggested by my Mac Authorized retailer tech guy.
