MacBook Pro (mid 2012) 13 inch problems

Hello,
Can anyone help with my MacBook problem. It loads OK but if tapped the screen seizes or I get multiple lines, or it re-boots.
Photo attached. Any help much appreciated.

PPC Mini, 10.4.11. Intel Mini, 10.6.8. MacBook Pro, 10.14.6. M1 MBA 11.6.3 iPhone 5 iOS 12.5,
Graphics card problem? How old is it? I have the same model but it's only 4 months old; ie is it still under warranty?

Hmmm why tap it?

However take it to an Apple Store and see if it qualifies for a free replacementshould it be the SSD. There is a video replacement but from memory that exists for 15" and 17" models only.

That sounds like a loose video cable. Go to www.ifixit.com and look up the instructions for getting into your machine. Once inside, carefully reseat all the video cables.

Thank you so much for the replies. Will check the video cables,if not, I'll head off to the nearest Apple Repair.
