Then ran Disk Utility from the DVD, verified and repaired permissions, verified and repaired disk. The trackpad and keyboard were fine once I restarted but I thought it best to run D.U. From the SL DVD right away.I'm currently backing up my MBP with TM and CCC, while typing this from my iPad. I really hope it's just the HDD cause that's an easy and affordable solution.My MBP's specs are in my details.
